It’s everyone’s favorite infomercial for men’s hair product, except this time it’s Black Magic Tire Wet! With a script that required realistic tire hair and the onset of COVID 19 shutting down most productions, Carbon stepped in to help provide CG hair that could be transformed from “old and gray” to “shiny and heeeey!” With the COVID pandemic just beginning, all travel was locked down and the scheduled shoot seemed impossible. Then, the DP and his wife stepped in to become the leading roles, with their own house serving as the set. They served as both the entire crew and the entire cast.
